Anti Bullying

The Academy Fellowship Council has written their own Anti-Bullying Leaflet. This has been handed out to all children in school. They have chosen a symbol to represent anti-bullying in school.

Outdoor Learning

Mrs Beechey has been very busy in our outdoor leaning area with a small group of Year 6 pupils.

The first challenge was to make a fire. All of the children tried with the lighting flints and cotton wool.

Once the fire was up and burning, we then toasted marshmallows and toast.

Our cooking skills were challenged by cooking cinnamon swirls and ginger and apple cake in the dutch oven.

More challenges were undertaken as the week went on - We built shelters for ourselves and agility courses for squirrels!  Although we were a bit muddy and smelly, everyone had a really good time.

Our pupils work in small groups to develop a range of skills in a fun and exciting environment with Mrs Beechey, our Learning Mentor!
