Lauren, Amber and Lana finishing another great book as part of our class 'Reading Challenge' all that's left to do now is write a review and have their picture and review will be displayed on our 'Reading Challenge' wall.

Lauren and Amber seem to have the same taste in books, or was it a recommendation and review choice?

What a great afternoon year 5 had taking part in the St Johns Ambulance, Basic 1st Aid Training. We were taught how to place a casualty in the recovery position and how to apply a bandage to a bleeding wound as well as safety tips in an emergency. There were lots of giggles along the way as we practised our new found 1st aid knowledge on each other.

Mrs Bunn's inspirational idea after a school visit to Holy Trinity Church.

Each fellowship group designed the symbols for their group, then cut them out of felt and with a little help from Mrs Mottershaw mounted them onto the banner. The symbol in the centre of the banner (Love) represents the value we are focusing on each half term.

Whole school trip to the Wrekin 2016
