Year 1

Remote/Home learning for Year 1

 Year 1

These challenges will be added to each week.

NEW Spring 2021

Each week the home learning will be closely linked to what we will be covering in the classroom.  The theme for learning each day is identified below and you are encouraged to explore other websites such as BBC Bitesize, http://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize to supplement the learning.

The expectation is that KS1 children should be completing 3 hours of home learning per day. With the lessons below, Purple Mash and Numbots activities your children will have more than enough activities to fulfil this expectation and to keep their learning moving forward while mirroring the topics we are covering in class.

Home learning can be placed in your child’s homework book and I ask that all completed work is to be returned to school with your child at the end of lock down so that I have evidence of their home learning. You can also upload learning via Purple Mash and Class Dojo.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if there are any queries or difficulties.

Thank you for your continued support and stay safe.
