All children at Dawley C of E Primary Academy have the entitlement to a fully enriching learning experience via a wide and varied curriculum offer, which challenges and develops confident learners and people.
We are part of the St Chad's Academies Trust and as such we uphold the core Christian values of love, hope, peace, and trust. During each day at the academy we use these to develop caring and kind individuals who are respectful of themselves and others. We hold daily acts of worship and ensure that our teaching and learning meets the needs of all learners. We have strong links with Holy Trinity Church, Dawley where we worship as a whole academy twice a term and have visits once a week from church members.
All of our pupils are encouraged to take ownership of their learning, be proud of their achievements, no matter how big or small and always challenge themselves to achieve their very best.
Everyone associated with Dawley C of E Primary Academy works with the Dawley Mindset. This is about preparing people for the challenges of life, learning from mistakes and developing a strength and determination to succeed. We encourage children to take risks in their learning, growing more resilient people for the future. Pupils are encouraged to always try their best and to develop their resilience to succeed when challenged during their learning. Our pupils are aware that effort makes them stronger!
